A VAN driver has been banned from the roads for more than a year after admitting drink driving.
Stephen Rogers, 34, of Ipswich Road, Colchester was caught with 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped in a white van in Grange Road on January 26.
The legal limit is 35.
At Colchester Magistrates’ Court on February 10 he was banned from driving for 13 months.
Rodgers was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim services charge and £105 prosecution costs.
