A SEX offender who failed to register online aliases including the name “KnickerInspector” has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Paul Neale, 70, was found to have failed to comply with notification requirements between November 2020 and January last year.
The pensioner admitted four breaches of the requirements, which require him to register any online aliases with the police.
The charges stated he had used the names “KnickerInspector”, “Knickersdown” and “HardSpanker” among others.
Neale, of High Street, Colchester, admitted the charges at a hearing before magistrates in December last year.
Appearing at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on January 14, he was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment, with the jail term suspended for 18 months.
It means he will not go to prison unless he commits another offence.
Neale was also ordered to complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement and 140 hours of unpaid work.
