POLICE responded to hundreds of reports of domestic violence last month.
Essex Police officers operating in Colchester investigated a total 413 incidents of domestic abuse throughout January
The force also looked into 209 reports of anti-social behaviour and exercised their powers to stop and search residents 141 times.
Officers also attended 127 mental health incidents and 78 road traffic collisions, and also investigated 62 reports of missing people
In total, Essex Police solved 212 crimes committed in Colchester and intelligence was submitted by the public 624 times.
