“He [Will Quince] is so out of touch on actual local issues. He’s treating us all like we’re stupid.”

Steve Callcut added: “Anyone backing this bumbler, after his constant lying, the contempt he’s shown for the public, his mismanagement of just about everything, is clearly not somebody to ever be trusted either.”

Julie Golding, however, stated further heads should roll as the Prime Minister wasn’t the only person at the parties.

She said: “The PM didn’t attend the parties alone so why don’t all the others stand up, apologise and leave.”

And Adrian Roast backed Mr Quince, stating it’s time to “move on and get on with the job”.
