A HAIRDRESSER who started in the profession as a Saturday girl has now become a partner in the salon where she works.
Willows Hair Salon in Gosfield has announced employee Olivia Dennison as a new partner in the business.
Olivia, 22, has joined owner Samantha Holden in running the business.
Samantha has run the salon for more than 15 years with Olivia joining the team in April last year.
The salon scooped a certificate of excellence from Salon Spy, a verified review company.
Now, Sam has decided to offer part of the business to Olivia.
She said: “At 22 I’m grateful for the opportunity in having part of my own salon.
“I’ve worked hard to get this far and I can’t wait to see where it takes us. This is something I’ve been doing since I had a Saturday job at 15.
“It is intimidating because I am young and there are still things I need to learn but with Sam we also have a perfect mix of experience and youth.”
