A man who was in charge of a motor vehicle while over the drink drive limit has been handed a three month driving ban.

Jonathan Lagen, 38, of Circular Road South, Colchester, was found to be in charge of the Audi A3 while over the drink drive limit in Hollybush Hill, London, on January 9.

Lagen was found to have 106 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milliliters of breath. The legal limit is 35.

At Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on January 24 he admitted the offence and was given a three month driving ban.

He was also fined £250 and must pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Magistrates said his plea was taken into consideration with sentencing.
