AN e-fit has been released of a man with “long brown nails” who police wish to speak to after a girl who was attacked on a bus.

Essex Police officers are currently investigating an incident involving a female passenger who was assaulted in Tiptree while on a bus.

The attack took place outside St Luke’s Church, in Church Road, on November 8, although the Gazette has only just been made aware of the investigation.

Police have now launched a search for a man described as being white, 6ft tall, and slim with unkempt grey ear-length, swept over hair.

He is also understood to have long brown nails and was also seen in the same location a few weeks later on December 16.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers investigating an incident where a girl was assaulted in Tiptree are releasing an e-fit of a man they want to speak to.

“We need you to contact us if you recognise this man or have any information about who he is.

“If you have any information you can submit a report at essex.police.uk or call us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference number 42/292190/21.”
