SEVERAL fines have been issued after police carried out speed checks in various locations.
Low Road, Dovercourt, The Walls, and Manningtree are some of the locations targetted by officers from the Harwich Community Policing Team.
Using the Trucam speed gun, they have also carried out speed checks in Long Road, Lawford, Harwich Road, and Little Oakley.
It emerged there were four drivers exceeding the speed limit and will be receiving a fine in the post.
A spokesman for the Harwich Community Policing Team said: "If you are experiencing persistent issues with speeding in your area, please report online at www.essex.police.uk
