The Scarbrough Hotel

Found opposite Leeds train station, this is a great way to end a day of culture and shopping before heading home.

This pub serves up a mean Sunday roast - with each plateful served with roast potatoes, roasted parsnips, steamed greens, glazed Chantenay carrots, a Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

The Sunday lunch option is available from 12 noon - The Scarborough Hotel's offering includes beef, chicken, lamb shank, walnut and almond nut roast.

Viaduct

Reviews prepare future customers at Viaduct for an "excellent Sunday lunch". Viaduct serves British gastropub favourites with options for different dietary needs.

One customer told Tripadvisor: "We had roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of perfectly cooked veg. The beef was so tender and melted in the mouth. My partner had a veggie option which was so tasty and the truffle and Parmesan chips were to die for!"

This is a great option if you have any gluten-free loved ones at the table.

This classic British pub has some real treats on the menu - The Adelphi's Sunday roast is served with a Yorkshire pudding, ruffled thyme-roasted potatoes, buttered savoy cabbage, leeks, peas and roasted root vegetables.

Meat options include 21-day aged sirloin of beef with red wine jus and half-roast chicken with pigs in blankets, stuffing and red wine jus.

Veggies and vegans can also get the nut roast - a root vegetable roast made with almonds and walnuts and vegetarian gravy.

The White Swan

You'll be spoilt for choice at The White Swan - where all meats are locally supplied by the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company.

A Sunday roast here is served with roast potatoes, braised spiced red cabbage, mashed potato, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy.

Options include Yorkshire Dales beef topside, Yorkshire Dales roasted belly pork with crispy crackling, roast chicken breast and a black bean and vegetable loaf.

Four Sons Inn
