A BRAZEN motorcyclist was handed 12 points on his driving licence after police officers caught them committing a series of offences all at once.
Essex Police’s roads policing unit spotted the rider with a child passenger perched “precariously” on the front as he rode past two officers in Colchester.
However after the passenger was dropped off safely, the officers pulled the bike over shortly afterwards as he attempted to ride past them again.
And the officers couldn’t believe their eyes when they realised not only did the motorcyclist drive carelessly or hold any insurance, but he also only held a provisional licence and therefore shouldn’t have carried any other passengers.
He was also issued a Section 59 warning, meaning the four offences led to the force handing him 12 points on his licence.

A force spokesman added: “To top it all off because traffic officers are thorough they seized his bike as it turns out it had been stolen from Suffolk.
“Our rider is now allegedly £2,000 out of pocket after purchasing the bike in what he assured them was a completely legitimate and legal manner.”
The motorcyclist was also fined £500.
