A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of incidents where an Indian restaurant in Burnham-on-Crouch and its staff were "targeted".
Six incidents between November 22-28 were reported to police relating to the Curry Cottage restaurant in the High Street.
These include a vehicle being in collision with the shop window, racial abuse being shouted down the phone at staff, and prank calls with hoax food orders.
Police announced a hate crime investigation had been launched on November 30 to see if these incidents are linked and if they have been "primarily motivated by hatred".
