A SPECIAL festival celebrating vegan goods delighted foodies who sampled a plethora of tasty treats.

Dedicated to all things vegan, the festival returned to Colchester’s Charter Hall.

It provided six hours for residents to try an array of exciting goods and offered visitors the chance to purchase vegan gifts just in time for Christmas.

There were more than 80 stalls on display with fantastic items including cooked and raw foods, pies, chocolate, beauty products and clothing.

They included Greek Vegan Deli, Those Vegan Pizza Guys, Vdogs and Veg Heads.

Home Kitchen, Badgers Vegan Kitchen and Dinky Doos were also serving up the delicious goods.

People young and old also got to enjoy the eclectic tastes of Mel Tropical Kitchen, Norwegian Bakers and Dough Yo’s.

Food wasn’t the only item on the agenda, however, as Copa Wine offered a classy taste alongside Juicybar, Al Fresco Coffee Bar and Manningtree’s Winyl.

Organisers of the festival also used its popularity as a chance to promote charities and support their work.

Animal Aid, Greek Animal Rescue and Sea Shepherd UK were given the chance to spread the work of their vital work in helping animals across the globe and closer to home.

Meanwhile, people could get help make their body radiant with Funky Skincare, Happy Carrot Skincare and I Am Natural’s products.
