A DRIVER has been reported for careless driving after a car crash resulted in a person having to be rushed to hospital.
Essex Police were called to Wimpole Road, in Colchester, at about 6.15pm on November 1, alongside paramedics and firefighters.
After arriving at the scene it was established there had been a two-vehicle smash at the junction with Old Heath Road.
According to the force the road was reopened by 9pm and nobody was seriously injured, although one person was transported to Colchester Hospital by ambulance.

A driver was subsequently reported by officers at the scene for careless driving.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: "If you have any information you can submit a report online at essex.police.uk or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.
"Please quote incident 988 of 1 November.
