A MAN has been fined hundreds of pounds and banned from driving after being caught doing so without insurance.
Marlon Swanson-Sprent, 28, of Golf Green Road, Clacton, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on October 14.
He faced one county of using a motor vehicle on a road or in a public place without having third party insurance.
Swanson-Sprent had been charged after being caught driving a Volkswagen Golf in London Road, Brentwood, in January this year.
He was subsequently fined a total of £579, which must be paid by November 11, and disqualified from driving for six months.
