A TEENAGER caused thousands of pounds of damage to a care home during a destructive episode.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, lives in Clacton but on August 21 found himself in Stevenage.
While in the area he destroyed three windows, one door and one light belonging to The Oaks care home.
After causing roughly £2,000 worth of damage the teenager was charged with criminal damage to a property.
During a court appearance on September 9 he admitted the charge and has since been referred to the north Hertfordshire youth offender panel for 10 months.
