A COMMUNITY writing group is set to host a virtual book launch during which they will release a collaborative publication.
Colchester Writenight, formed in 2011 and comprised of authors and inspiring guests, will release its Short Prose Collection online next week.
The book has been edited by Sue Dawes and Emma Kittle-Pey and features compelling stories from Sarah Armstrong, Annie Bell, Doug Smith, and many more.
The anthology, which has adopted an ‘open book’ theme, boasts funny, emotional and scary works concocted throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The Short Prose Collection online book launch will run between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on October 25 and can be accessed by emailing colchesterwritenight@gmail.com.
It will be officially published on October 29 at a cost of £9 per copy from patricianpress.com.
