THE daughter of a man diagnosed with multiple sclerosis will be taking a plunge to help raise money to combat the devastating condition.

Megan Rowley will be dropping from 10,000ft to help support people suffering with MS after her dad, Adrian, 61, was diagnosed with it several years ago.

The lifelong, incurable condition has a plethora of heart-wrenching symptoms which include tiredness, vision problems and issues with walking or balance.

It sees the immune system mistakenly attack the brain and nerves.

Now, Megan, a teaching assistant in Colchester, will be having to put any fear of heights to the back of her mind as she prepares to brave the drop.

“I am quite a thrill seeker and this is something I have always wanted to do,” she said.

“Those that know me well, know that MS-UK is a charity close to my heart and so what better way to take on this challenge and raise money all at the same time?

“Dropping from 10,000ft up in the air is not everyone's cup of tea but it will give me a memory that will last a lifetime, and also help provide an extended life with better treatment and research for those suffering with MS.”
