A SUITABLY spooky venue is set to host a hair-raising Halloween spectacle to celebrate the scary season.
Beacon Hill Fort, a long-standing war defence structure in Harwich, will act as the focal point of this year’s Fortress of Fear event.
The spine-chilling stroll will see brave guests walk through the nearby woods and the historic coastal fortification.
Along the way, they will be approached by a variety of frightening figures who will do their best to terrify those they come into contact with.
Andrea King, a spokeswoman for the Harwich Angels, which is running the event for a third year, said: “Who will you meet on Halloween?
“We thank everyone for their continued support this year.”
The Fortress of Fear takes place on October 29 in half-an-hour timeslots between 6pm and 10.30pm at a cost of £5 per person.
