A HISTORIC performing arts venue will play host to a spooktacular programme of events in celebration of this year’s Halloween.

The West Cliff Theatre, in Tower Road, Clacton, has curated a horrifying line-up to mark the scary season during the half-term holiday.

From October 25 until October 27 there will be a fun packed Halloween workshop aimed at children aged between six and 12-years-old.

The three-day event will boast a myriad of fun and games for the participants who will then present a mini performance to parents and families on the final day.

Rob-Mitchell Gears, manager at the West Cliff Theatre, said: “This really is a great opportunity for any budding stars to get creative and have a cauldron full of fun.

“The event is run by industry trained professionals who will help fire the imagination of the young participants so that they gain the very most from the workshops.

“It is aimed at anyone, no matter their ability and will be stimulating, fun and helps build confidence.”

The venue will also be staging the haunting family show Crafty’s Creepy Castle on October 29 from 2pm, at which the younger guests will be given a Trick or Treat gift.

The performance is suitable for children aged between two and seven-years-old and will be followed by a meet, treat and greet with Crafty the Crow himself.

Tickets for the three days of entertainment cost £50 while tickets for the show cost £10.50 for adults and £9.50 for children.
