A PETROL station has submitted an application to be able to sell alcohol 24 hours a day.
Britannia Service Station, in Mersea Road, Colchester applied to Colchester Council to extend its alcohol licence to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The firm, which runs the Texaco garage, is currently able to sell alcohol products from 7am until midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and from 7am until 3am Fridays and Saturdays.
The objection period will end on October 24.
