COLCHESTER United's game against Sutton United has been rearranged.

The U's home fixture against the South London side was postponed earlier this month, due to Covid cases in the Sutton camp.

Sutton informed the league that due to the emergence of a number of positive Covid-19 cases in their squad, together with injuries and international call-up, that they were unable to fulfil the original fixture on September 4.

Now it has been announced that the League Two game will take place on Tuesday, October 26 at the JobServe Community Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

Colchester will now have seven games to play in League Two next month, with five of those fixtures at home.

The EFL are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the postponement of Colchester's game with Sutton, earlier this month.

Sutton returned to action at the weekend, claiming their first league win of the season after beating Stevenage 2-1.
