Police remain on the scene of a serious collision in Latchingdon.
Maldon Road remains closed at its junction with Thatchers Croft after a collision involving two vehicles at 7.20am this morning.

It is unexpected to reopen until later today.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We’d like to thank members of the public for their patience as we remain on the scene of a serious collision in Latchingdon.
"We were called at 7.20am this morning, Tuesday September 14, to reports that a motorcyclist and bin lorry had collided along Maldon Road.
"The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"The road remains closed and drivers are asked to please avoid the area and seek an alternate route. It is not expected to reopen until later this afternoon."
Police are appealing for information from anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dashcam footage of the collision.
