RESIDENTS have been invited to share their opinions on how two Tendring sports centres can be improved.
Both users and non-users of Brightlingsea and Harwich Sports Centres are being asked to share their opinions on the Tendring Council-run facilities to shape them going forward.
Alex Porter, Tendring councillor responsible for leisure and tourism, said services had to deliver for people, and wanted as many opinions as possible.
“We all know how important fitness and activity is for our health and wellbeing, and these two sports centres are part of that mix,” Mr Porter said.
“However, we need to provide what people actually want, in the right places and at the right times. This exercise will therefore help us to shape services going forward and decisions on future investment.
“We want to listen to those who use the site, and find out from those who do not why that is the case, so their views can inform further planning.”
The listening exercise runs until October 24. To have your say fill out a form at one of the centres or visit bit.ly/38ZJw4S.
You can find Harwich Sports Centre in Hall Lane, Dovercourt.
Brightlingsea’s Centre is based in Church Road.
