POLICE have confirmed a man has died following a traffic collision on the A1017.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died of his injuries following the serious collision on the road in Haverhill.
The man, in his 40s, was involved in a collision with a red car, a Hyundai Getz, on the A1017, near Sturmer, shortly before 10.30pm last Thursday.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting reference: CAD 412 of August 19."
