A CHARITY gig in aid of young people who encounter experiences with cancer is being held at a Colchester music venue next month.
The Young Lives vs Cancer show will take place on Three Wise Monkeys’ top floor room on September 24, starting from 8pm.
Organised by Ben Benedetti in association with TWM Live the fundraising gig will feature performances from The Lamplight Club, Polly Haynes and The Upsy Daisies.
DJ Ben Howard will also be spinning tunes throughout the evening, from which any money raised will go directly to the Young Lives vs Cancer charity.
The non-profit organisation helps children and young people and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
A spokesman for the show said: “Let’s bring all supporters from the Colchester music scene out for this show, for such a good cause and let’s make this a special night.”
Tickets for the Young Lives vs Cancer charity gig cost £5 and can be purchased on the door on the night of the show.
