POLICE are looking for footage of a town centre assault which left a man with injuries after he was struck to the head.

Essex Police reported officers were called to Head Street, Colchester, at 5.20pm yesterday.

It was reported a victim, a man aged in his 40s, and his partner had become involved in an argument with another man and woman.

He was then assaulted.

A police spokesman said: "Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

"We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or mobile phone footage to come forward."
