THE new Colchester Gift Card has been launched in a bid to boost businesses across the town.

Created by Our Colchester Business Improvement District (BID), it can be spent in more than 30 businesses, with more set to be added to the list.

It can be loaded from just £5 and is aiming to keep residents' spending in the town centre.

Businesses of all kinds are on the list, including retailers, hospitality firms and even hair salons.
