TRAFFIC had to be diverted after a van carrying traffic lights got stuck in a ditch.
The white van came off a road and ended up tipped on its left side in a grassy ditch in Mersea this morning.
Pell Sutherland came across the van at about 10.55am when he was returning from picking their daughter's GCSE results up.
It is not clear when the van was removed from the ditch or whether anyone was injured.
There was a diversion in place near to Blackwater Vets.
