Trains have been delayed after a person was spotted trespassing on tracks near a Colchester station.
Greater Anglia said the incident happened near to Hythe station this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene but the train operator said the person was now off the tracks.
Train services are back on the move but commuters were told to expect some delays.
Disruption is expected until 6pm.
The 3.56pm Colchester to Walton-On-The-Naze was running 17 minutes late and will be terminated at Thorpe-Le-Soken.
The 4pm Walton to Colchester train, 4.05pm Clacton to Liverpool Streetand 5pm Walton to Colchester trains have also been delayed.

The person is now off the track and services are back on the move.
The 15:56 Colchester to Walton-On-The-Naze is now 17 minutes late and will be terminated at Thorpe-Le-Soken.
