A SPOKESMAN for the Fantasia event in Maldon's Promenade Park this Saturday confirmed that Rylan Clark-Neal has pulled out from attending.

The TV presenter, 32, was expected to co-host the huge concert with Joey Essex and Denise Van Outen.

However a spokesman for Fantasia told The Express on Monday: "Unfortunately Rylan is unable to be part of the event this weekend."

This cancellation comes after reports of his split last month from his husband of six years, former police officer and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Dan Neal.

Rylan later confirmed the rumours in a statement issued to The Sun, and said he was taking time off work and seeking help following the surprise break-up.

He also took to Instagram and thanked fans for their support, revealing he is working towards returning to his jobs.

The post earlier this month said: "I just wanted to write a message to thank you all for the love and kindness you have shown us.

"We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love the most. I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course. Thank you for being patient with me."

Fantasia is set to take place this weekend from 12 midday to 11.30pm and will feature performances from stars such as Peter Andre, Tony Hadley, Gabrielle, and many more.
