Police are appealing for information after three people were taken to hospital following a collision.
The incident occurred around 2.15pm on July 21 the A131 High Garret at the junction with Sunnyfields Road.
A burgundy red Ford Fiesta and a silver Audi A4 were involved and three people were taken to hospital.
The driver of the Fiesta, a woman in her 80s and the passenger, a man in his 90s sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the Audi, a man in his 80s sustained minor inquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have dash cam footage to come forward and contact PC Simon Bailey at Stanway Roads Policing Unit via email to simon.bailey@essex.police.uk.
