Two exhibitions at Firstsite will be closed today after staff were told to self-isolate.
The gallery announced on social media the Art for Life and House Share exhibitions would not be able to open.
They will reopen tomorrow (Thursday July 29).
Michael Landy's Welcome to Essex, The Great Big Art Exhibition and Michael Landy's Break Down are open as usual until 5pm
The gallery's café, sinema and shop also remain open.
In a Tweet the gallery said: "Due to staff isolating we're unable to open Art for Life or House Share exhibitions today – reopening Thu 29 Jul.
"#MichaelLandy's Welcome to Essex, The Great Big Art Exhibition & Michael Landy's Break Down are open as usual 10am – 5pm. Our Café, Cinema & Shop also remain open."
