Colchester has recorded over 300 more cases of coronavirus in the last seven days.
All areas of the borough now appear on the Government's Covid hotspot map.
The average infection rate stands at 169 per 100,000 people, up from 105.3 a week ago.
There were 329 more cases confirmed in the borough during this week.

The area to record the most cases is Greenstead with 42.
Lexden and Prettygate and Westlands have recorded the lowest number of cases with five each.
