REVEALED: New Loungers restaurant in Colchester town centre will create 25 jobs
COLCHESTER'S new Loungers restaurant will create 25 new jobs for the town, it has been revealed.
Loungers UK Limited is opening its latest restaurant, Romano Lounge, as part of the redevelopment of the town's old East of England Co-op, in Long Wyre Street.
A fresh application has been submitted to change the use of the unit to a restaurant as the final stages of preparations are completed.
The application states the new restaurant will create the equivalent of 25 new full time jobs for Colchester.

The application also requests the proposed opening hours of the restaurant are extended slightly.
The restaurant would be open from 8am to 12am Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 11pm Sundays and public holidays.
