A COLCHESTER secondary school has been closed due to flooding.
Paxman Academy, in Paxman Avenue, flooded over the weekend.
The school opened late on Monday due to the flood and will remain closed to students on Tuesday.
The school said on Twitter on Monday evening: "Please note that the school will remain closed tomorrow due to today's flood. Students will be learning remotely."

A statement on the website reads: "Unfortunately, there has been some water damage to the school over the weekend and part of the school has been flooded.
"The school will remain closed on Tuesday June 29."
Paxman Academy is almost a brand new school and first opened in 2019.
