POLICE officers found themselves in a sticky situation while they were on patrol in Colchester.
Officers from Colchester's policing team came across a black BMW which was covered in hundreds of yellow post-it notes during their shift on Thursday afternoon.
The word "soz" was formed in the notes on the side of the car, and officers could not resist taking a picture to share on their social media.
Essex Police in Colchester District tweeted: "Do you ever have one of those moments where you wonder what happened?
"There's never a dull day on patrol in Colchester.
"At least they apologised."
