A BUSY Colchester road is closing while work is carried out by Anglian Water.

Berechurch Road will shut from its junction with Britannia Mews, for three days from July 5.

It is while pipe repair works are carried out, but an alternative route is available via Berechurch Road, Mersea Road, Abbots Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Roman Way, Hooper Avenue and Berefield Way.

New Park Street is shutting from its junction with Artillery Street for two days from July 22.

It is while new connection works are carried out by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via New Park Street, Port Lane and Artillery Street.

* Look out for a road closure in Clacton.

Cambridge Road is shutting from its junctions with Old Road and Wellesley Road, for four days from July 20.

It is because of carriageway patching works.

* Elsewhere in Clacton, Croft Road is shutting from its junctions with Coppins Road and Wargrave Road.

A diversion will be in place for three days from July 19, because of more carriageway patching works being carried out by Essex County Council workers.

* A Tiptree road is closing on two successive Sundays over the coming months.

Church Road is shutting from its junction with Morley Road on July 25 and August 1.

It is while new connection works are carried out by Anglian Water.An alternative route is available via Church Road, Maldon Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road, Goldhanger Road, Church Street, South Street, North Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D’Arcy Road and Factory Hill.

* Fibre optic broadband is being installed in Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne next month.

However, it means the road is closing from its junctions with Fordham Road and Chappel Road for five days from July 5.

An alternative route is available to drivers via Crepping Hall Road, Vernons Road, Colchester Road, Spring Gardens Road, Boarded Barn Road and Jankes Green Road.

* UK Power Networks is carrying out work in Dale Hill, Kirby-le-Soken.

The project means the road will close for three days from July 20.

* Drivers should be aware of roadworks lasting more than a fortnight in Clacton.

Hadleigh Road is shutting from its junction with Dedham Avenue to the Cloes Lane roundabout, for 15 days from July 22.

An alternative route is available via Hadleigh Road, Cloes Lane, Flatford Drive and Dedham Avenue.
