Linked - Simeon Akinola and Ashley Nathaniel-George have been linked with a switch to Barnet
SOUTHEND United’s Simeon Akinola and Ashley Nathaniel-George are both being linked with a move to National League side Barnet.
The duo both found themselves out of favour with the Shrimpers following the return of Phil Brown as manager and could now move on.
Akinola joined Blues from the Bees last summer and scored twice 24 games.
However, the striker featured just once in six games with Brown back in charge.
Winger Nathaniel-George joined from Crawley in October and netted twice in 32 outings but he failed to make the matchday squad following Mark Molesley’s departure.
