TWO people had to be taken to hospital after a collision saw a car flip on to its roof.
The incident saw the A120 closed in one direction while the emergency services attended the scene.
The accident happened at Ardleigh shortly after 4pm on yesterday.
Two people were taken to Colchester Hospital for further care, although it is understood no-one was seriously injured.
The Colchester-bound carriageway had to be closed while the emergency services worked to make the scene safe before it reopened just after 4.30pm.

A motorist, who has asked to remain anonymous, said: “The family were sitting on the side of the road, and a man was bleeding from his head.
“We then saw multiple police cars heading to the crash.”
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We arrived alongside colleagues from the fire service and ambulance service and found a car on its roof on the Colchester-bound carriageway.”
“A closure on the Colchester-bound carriageway was put in place before the road was completely re-opened.”
A spokesman for the fire service added: “On arrival, crews reported nobody was trapped in their vehicles.”
