SHOCKING photos show the mess left behind at a popular beauty spot after the warm weather.
The pictures were taken in Dedham on Wednesday by one resident, who branded the mess "utterly disgusting".
The banks of the River Stour were filled with people enjoying the summer sun on Wednesday.
The rubbish had been left behind near to the footpath gate leading towards Flatford, in a field roamed by the area's cows.
Last year, Colchester Council was forced to step up patrols and clean ups in the area due to the mess left behind at the popular beauty spot.

Dedham is one of the most popular tourist attractions in north Essex and the route along the River Stour to Flatford is one of the most famous walking spots in the area.
The village is cover by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of Constable Country.
