Trains were delayed while emergency services dealt with an incident at a station in Colchester.
Greater Anglia reported issues at Colchester Town station this afternoon (June 2).
It said the line was blocked and services would be cancelled, delayed or revised.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Colchester Town Railway Station at around 2.15pm on Wednesday following reports of a man falling on to the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening."
Due to emergency services dealing with an incident at #ColchesterTown the line is blocked.

Train services running through this station will be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice.
The incident was resloved by 3.21pm.
