A MAN accused of murdering a 21-year-old woman in now expected to enter a plea to the charge next month.
Adam Butt, 21, is alleged to have stabbed Mary Wells at an address in Laing Road, Colchester, on January 17.
Butt, of Laing Road, is charged with her murder.
A provisional cause of death indicated she died of stab wounds to her neck and torso.
Butt appeared at via video link at Chelmsford Crown Court today in front of Judge Christopher Morgan.
However, Judge Morgan decided to adjourn the plea and trial preparation hearing date for June 16.
