A MOTORCYCLIST was left with serious injuries after he swerved to avoid a car reported to be travelling on the wrong side of the road.
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision in The Street, Great Saling, at 3pm on Monday, April 26.
The 27-year-old biker, from Haverhill, hit the pavement and fell, breaking his collarbone and elbow.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The car was described as black and looked new, but unfortunately we do not currently have a make and model.
"We are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or has dash cam footage.
