A POPULAR gymnastic club for kids has closed its Colchester branch due to the impact of Covid.

Gymfinity Kids, which has a site in Colchester on the Severalls Industrial Estate, has announced it will not be reopening the Crown Gate premises after lockdown.

The new was announced in an email to parents, which has been seen by the Gazette.

It said: "It is with regret that we inform you we will not be reopening our Gymfinity Kids club in Colchester.

"This has been a difficult decision to make and not one that has been taken lightly.

"As you know, Covid-19 has impacted many people and businesses and we are no different.

"Sadly the situation forced us to re-evaluate our position and unfortunately lockdown has had the greatest impact on our Colchester club."
