A WOMAN was rescued from a vehicle which crashed into a garage in Colchester.
Essex Fire Service were called to Mountbatten Drive at about 4.20pm on Monday.
Two crews from Colchester and the Urban Search and Rescue team were called to the scene.
On arrival, crews reported a car had collided with a garage and a woman was trapped in her vehicle.
The Urban Search and Rescue team was called to help make the structure of the garage safe so firefighters could rescue the woman.

The casualty was rescued by 6.10pm.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were stood down and told we were not needed before we arrived on scene."
