ALMOST all parts of Colchester have recorded nearly zero Covid cases in the latest week, new figures show.
According to the Government's latest hotspots map, just two parts of the borough recorded three or more cases in the week to April 4.
The rest of the borough has recorded less than three, meaning the virus is classed as "suppressed" in these areas.
They are not recorded on the hotspots map any longer.
The only areas which saw three or more cases were Parson's Heath, which recorded four, and Mile End and Braiswick, which recorded three.

- Horkesley Heath, Langham & Dedham - less than three
- Prettygate & Westlands - less than three
- Old Heath & Rowhedge - less than three
- Shrub End - less than three
- Tiptree - less than three
Colchester' average infection rate continues to fall.

It is now 12.8 cases per 100,000 people.
There were 25 cases in the borough in the week to April 5.
The infection rate in the borough has fallen from 26.7 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier, when there were 52 cases in seven days.
On Monday, some lockdown rules will be changing.
Shops are able to reopen for customers once again and hospitality businesses can serve customers outside.
The next stage of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown will then see indoor hospitality reopen from May 17, if it goes ahead.
