A NEW retailer selling and restoring pre-owned designer handbags has arrived at Colchester's Fenwick store in time for its reopening after lockdown.

Handbag Clinic will be joining the list of retailers at the Colchester High Street department store, which will reopen on Monday at 9am.

The firm sells a range of pre-owned, fully-authenticated luxury handbags from brands like Chanel, Dior, Saint Lauren and Louise Vitton.

Each bag has been restored by skilled ateliers, who can also take a look at customers beloved items.

The firm promises it can increase the lifespan of most treasured handbags, as well as pairs of shoes, and rejuvenates about 700 bags a month - reducing waste and encouraging the fashion conscious to be environmentally conscious. Read more:

Beauty services are also set to get up and running again at Fenwick Colchester from Monday with brands Blink Brow Bar, Lancome, Liz Earle, Jo Malone and Dermalogica operating.

A number of new Covid safety measures will be in place at the store including limits on the number of people inside.

A one-way system will be marked out inside whilst social distancing rules must be adhered to.

Hand sanitiser will be easily accessible throughout the store and located at every till point.
