RESIDENTS in Colchester will be able to click and collect garden waste recycling sacks as part of a new trial.
From next Tuesday residents will be able to order replacement garden sacks online and collect them from the visitor centre at High Woods Country Park.
The new service will be trialled for four weeks, but if successful Colchester Council says it will likely be extended to other locations and include a wider range of recycling containers.
During the Covid pandemic, staff have been delivering recycling containers due to the closure of many businesses which acted as stockists.
