A police probe has been launched after a man flashed two girls in the middle of the street.

The pair were walking on Websters Way, Rayleigh, on Wednesday afternoon when they were approached by the male.

The man, who was believed to have been wearing a grey tracksuit at the time, then proceeded to flash the girls leaving them "shaken".

Essex Police have now confirmed they are investigating the incident, which took place around 4.15pm, and are encouraging anyone with any information to get in touch. 

A spokesperson said: "Anyone with information can call us on 101 and quote the crime reference number 42/57089/21."
