Man and woman cut free from cars after crash on busy Colchester road
A man and woman had to be cut free after a crash between two cars.
Emergency services were called to Mersea Road in colchester at 8.20pm last night.
Firefighters from Colchester and Wivenhoe were called by Essex Police to help rescue the man and woman.
A man was trapped in one vehicle and a woman was trapped in the other.

Firefighters used specialist lifting and cutting equipment to release the casualties by 9.33pm.
They were left in the care of the ambulance service.
